Abu Musa Treatment Plant

Abu Musa wastewater project is BOT investment for 20 years and supplies sanitation water for this Island by South Raadab Eng. Co. The implementatoin of sewage collection network started since 2013 and was put into operation in the mid 2014. This device is package and its advantage is quick installation.
Sewage treatment capacity of Abu Musa Sayadan Town are 2x400 mcd which can be increased to 3x400 mcd.Over 200 sewage system size and 110 branches size with a length of 9000 meters was established and it will be increased in the time of need. It is noteworthy that the old network with a length of 7000 meters was rebuilt and reformed.
Pumping station is under construction behind the hospital to transfer sewage of health and organizational homes to tretment plant. New branches are 275 that cover four hundred families.
New wastewater is about 280 mcd and is produced from the existing wastewater. Now it is spent for green space of Abu Musa.

Zahedan- First agreement

Zahedan as one of the major centers of population in the east of the country is the state capitl of Sistan-Baluchestan and rapidly is facing the rate of population growth and migration.
Supply of drinking water is important due to climate condition of the area and growth of population. On the other side, Zahedan is near the border and according to many health problem in neighboring (Pakistan) the risk of infection disease intensifies. Also problems with heat and dryness of the air add to the need of providing clean drinking water.
At the moment Zahedan ground water is considered as primary source of water supply which its quantity and quality are seriously restricted; So that many wells dried up and fall of water levels continues in many wells each year. From the other side quantity of water is extracting consequently and the quality is decreasing. Therefore ongoing studies on drinking water was conducted between 1984 to 1991. Finally some lakes where situated in the plain were determined as a complementary source of water of Zahedan and studies of water transfer plan from these lakes to Zahedan was notified to the counselor. After years of waiting and a lot of ups and down, this plan came into operation in 2003
In 2010 Raadab Company signed a contract with water and sewage Company of Sistan-Baluchestan producing 20,000 m^3/d potable water by BOO which feed water was supplied by groundwater and brackish water.

Dargahan desalination plant



Dargahan is a city of Qeshm Island located in Hormozgan province in the southern region of Iran. Its population is above 8000. Historically Dargahan was a center of trade and important port of Qeshm Island.
Having many bazars and memorable sunset have made Dargahan the fantastic tourist place which bring many visitors from all over the country. The people are known as affectionate and hospitable among Hormozgan and Qeshm Island.
Actually Dargahan was a village before 2006 and had water shortage. People were collecting rain water in water storage for drinking and washing which was causing health problem.
Because of its proximity to the vast resources of water, Raadab Company established RO desalination plant to produce clean and potable water.

Abu Musa and Great Tonb

Abu Musa Island is one of 14 island province located in 222 Km. from Bandar Abbas and 75 Km. from Bandar Lengeh.
 Abu Musa city with a population of 5263 people is composed of 6 small and large islands (Abu Musa, Great Tonb, Small Tonb, Great Faroor, Small Faroor and Siri).
At present the drinking water of two Islands ,Abu Musa and Great Tonb, is provided by Ro systems according to Hormozgan Wastewater Company.

Hormuz desalination plant



Hormuz Island is like a mussel among Persian Gulf see. The Island covers an area of 41 square kilometers and is located within 18 Km. southeast of Bandar Abbas, the capital of Hormozgan province. Politically Hormuz is considered part of Qeshm city. Hormuz population is of over five thousand people.
This Island is formed of layers of sedimentary and volcanic. It is interesting to know that level of salt in the salt dunes covers much of the island. The temperature in summer is 〖40〗^0 C above zero and rainfall varies between 30 and 200 mm. Relative humidity of the Island is between 30 and 100 percent.
There is no pasture and vegetation on the island due to low rainfall, saline soil and brackish water.
The Island’s drinking water was supplied by wells, though it would float on water transport from Bandar Abbas to Hormuz due to low rainfall and drought in the past. Lack of safe water for all led to inaccessibility of it and that was the reason why South Raadab Eng. Co. established a desalination plant in Hormuz in 2009. Technology used is RO which produces 1875 m^3/d potable water and it is ended to water shortage of the Island
